Status : Single
Appearance: Light coat with dark flecks, almost a red coloured glint. Deep yellow eyes. Long legs but quite small in posture. Her eyes are her most prominent feature. Coat texture is sleek and not too bristly or bushy.
Personality: Niko prefers to keep to herself most of the time due to a past she would rather forget than embrace, but is still happy to help out in the pack. She keeps many things to herself so she may be described as mysterious. She also has a burning passion inside her which means that she is an excellent hunter. Her ability to tread lightly leave the other wolves in awe of her skills although she tends not to notice. She fights for what she believes is right but also has a dark side and can turn extremely hostile when pressured too much. However, often her bark is worse than her bite.
Voice: Niko is a quiet wolf yet when she does speak her voice is reletively high and with the air of a british accent.
Past: Past: When she was a pup, she lived in the pack Thunderstorm. They survived on the outskirts of a wide lake that they used to call ‘Shadowsoul’ as it was said that the shadows of pack members once past could be seen in the water. The pack was small, with only one alpha, Kem, two beta’s and a handful of Delta’s and hunters. Niko was born to Freda and Larks. Her mother, Freda, was a much admired Beta, the pack rumoured that she would replace Kem as alpha once he had died. Her look added to this theory, she looked the way an alpha would, her pelt cleaner than most, almost pure white with only a tint of grey, her eyes glistened the brightest yellow and her strong and dominant posture was the most regal of the pack. Niko’s father, on the other hand was a low level Delta. Larks spent his days avoiding his commitments to the pack, he was known as a liar and a coward, his deep green eyes glittered with dishonesty, which was why it was so surprising to see a wolf such a Freda fall for the dusty grey wolf that Larks was. They were only together for 12 moons before Freda had her first litter. There was 5 altogether. 3 possessed the appearance of Larks, the musky pelt submissive posture, another was Freda in every way shape and form. Finally there was one pup, she had a mixture of her fathers and her mother’s pelt, her father’s posture but her mother’s strong willed eyes. This was Niko. Shortly after her birth, Freda and Larks had a disagreement, Larks believed that he should be alpha but Freda did not agree. They spent the whole night with comments flying back and forth, Freda never backing down, not even when Larks took the first slash. It wasn’t the second or the third that broke her either, it was one to her pup, the one who had been the image of her that made her submit, that’s when he slit her throat. Kem ran to Freda’s lifeless body. His firey eyes turned to Larks.
“Get out! Leave this pack!”
Larks just glared back, he could hold the gaze for only so long before he turned and slunk away.
The pack was so focused on the body of Freda and her pup that no one noticed Larks pick up one of the remaining litter and leave into the night.
Most of the time Niko was growing up was spent believing Larks was a hero, that the pack had wrongly accused him. She was in awe of his strength and his abilities, then came the day he promised to pass on the abilities to her.
At first Niko was astounded that she was so lucky, but it wasn’t long before she realised. Training was intense and Larks starved her in order to keep her ‘healthy’. Some nights she would collapse on the ground, unable to move due to the lack of energy. That was when Larks would come. He would bite her and attack her, telling her she needed to be better. This happened almost every week.
One day Niko couldn’t take it anymore, she snapped and attacked her father. Growing up on stories of his strength, she didn’t hold back. She only realised that they were lies when his blood was cascading from his body and an extortionate rate.
Rain pelted down and forced the blood to run through her fur. Wet and soaked with the blood of her father, she ran into the trees. She wouldn’t never look back.
